Funchal, Portugal

Funchal is sheltered by hills, and recognised for its harbour, gardens and Madeira wine cellars. The centuries-old Cathedral mixes Gothic and Roman styles, with the carved wooden ceiling as its pièce de résistance. Fronting the harbour is the São Tiago Fortress, built in the 1600s and now houses the Contemporary Art Museum, with a large collection of Portuguese inspired pieces.

Santa Cruz de la Palma, Spain

Beyond the city, La Palma island is teeming with beautiful black sand beaches and vast emerald forests just waiting to be explored.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain

Welcome to Santa Cruz de Tenerife! Formed by volcanic activity, the largest of the Canary Islands is known for its warm climate, stunning landscapes and sun-soaked beaches. Be sure to spend some time exploring the sights of Plaza de Espana, such as the church of St. Francis of Assisi and the white wave auditorium, the Auditorio de Tenerife.

Arrecife (Lanzarote), Spain

Welcome to Arrecife de Lanzarote! Boasting powder-soft beaches, azure Atlantic waters and a spectacular volcanic backdrop, Arrecife is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. Casablanca, Morocco

Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, located in the central-western part of the country. The city’s French colonial legacy is seen in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco. Start with a visit to the central market, a massive kaleidoscope of colours. Then kick off your shoes as you visit the modernist landmark of the Hassan II Mosque, the 3rd largest mosque in the world.

Cadiz, Spain

Welcome to Cadiz! This grand walled city is one of the oldest in Western Europe and, as such, is a haven for history buffs. Admire the baroque-inspired, yellow-domed Cadiz Cathedral, discover fine art and archaeologic relics at the Museum of Cadiz and travel back in time at the Roman Theatre.
